Didsbury Ultimate Frisbee For Amateurs
Welcome to DUFFA!
We're Manchester's open Ultimate Frisbee club and one of the largest Ultimate Frisbee clubs in the North West. We meet and play twice a week - outdoors at Fog Lane Park, Didsbury, Manchester and indoors at Parrs Wood High School Sports Hall.
Over the summer (April - September), we play every Thursday and Sunday and finish with a pint or three in the Red Lion. Over the winter (September - April), we play every Sunday with a midweek session indoors and finish with a pint or three in the Red Lion, Withington or the Griffin Hotel in Heaton Mersey.
Our players are of varying levels, from total beginners to uni-level. We also frequently meet up for socials in and around the Didsbury area.
Want To Play?
DUFFA's ultimate goal (sorry) is to ensure that new members are always made to feel welcome and that just about anyone can just turn up and play. We welcome all abilities, especially those who have never played before. We're happy to take beginners through the basics - throwing and catching skills and go over the rules. Feel free to come down and just watch us if you want to see the level we play at and have a chat over a pint after!
If you're interested just turn up to any session in old trainers (if it's muddy) and bring a bottle of water. The fastest way to learn is to play!

When and Where We Play
We play whatever the weather!
Current sessions:
- Wednesdays - 2030hrs - 2230hrs, Parrswood High School - (the sports hall is located behind Parrs Wood cinema)
- Sundays - 1300hrs until dark, Fog Lane Park
Sunday Times:
To accommodate our position in the northern hemisphere timings follow the calendar below.... Our Sunday sessions change times according to the following calendar:

DUFFA Hat Tournament 2011
DUFFA Manchester Hat 2011 was fantastic fun - thanks to everyone who attended and helped out. DUFFA Manchester Hat is our very own Ultimate Frisbee Hat Tournament. DUFFA Hat 2011 was our fourth year and another great success! We had over 288 people from all over the UK, Europe and beyond who travelled to Manchester for 2 days of Ultimate Frisbee and socialising in the sun. Special thanks to our event sponsors who helped to make the event such fun packed weekend. We have received lots of positive feedback and some great suggestions for ways to make DUFFA Hat 2012 even better.
